Springfield doll vs. Our Generation doll?
I was wondering if anyone could give me a comparison between Springfield Dolls and Our Generation dolls. Which do you think is better quality for the price?

The Our Generation dolls are a little prettier: I have not looked specifically at the Springfield dolls, although in the photo, especially on the middle doll, it can be seen that the cheeks on the Springfield face mold are a little piggy looking.
I have two our generation dolls, one I bought used and the other I bought new and am giving a repaint to. The newer one has her teeth showing and the older, or used one, has a closed mouth, which I prefer.
The one with a partially open mouth, teeth showing, looks much better with her repaint, as her teeth (each doll has its idiosyncracies, even with factory-stencilled or decaled paint) and lips made her look a little mean. I haven’t started a repaint on the other one yet: I’ve been busy with project dollway – link below
The Our Generation dolls have a nice line of clothes and accessories, and I see that a lot of people are buying Our Generation dolls and accessories for their children instead of the very high-priced and trendy American Girl Dolls.
Another nice 18″ doll, each with a backstory and books, are the Magic Attic Dolls. They are slightly slimmer and have vinyl bodies.
Am Girl and Our Generation both have chubby cloth bodies; it looks like the springfield ones do too.
