What is the best BJD company to buy from?
Hello, I’m new in the BJD and wanted to know if anyone can teach me a little more about them as i would love to start collecting them. Also I want to make my own BJD so what is the best BJD website to buy the body, hair, eyes, makeup an so on at?

There are way too many companies to list and none is necessarily “best” or “worst.” You might want to start with this list of doll companies: http://www.gigglegeek.dk/bjd.htm It’s not a completely list but it is a start. You can also find lists, as well as information on caring for dolls, what sizes they come in, and the like on Den of Angels and various LiveJournal communities like bjd_wtf.
Just an FYI, though, I have never heard of a company that would be willing to do makeup (which is called a faceup in the hobby) on a doll they don’t sell. So if you made your own or bought one from company X, Company Y probably wouldn’t be willing to do it. You would have to either get a company faceup from the company you ordered the doll from (you can choose to get it at the time of your order), learn how to do your own, or hire someone on commission to do it for you. There are many artists on Den of Angels who can be hired to do faceups.
